Heat buildup common under many metal roof applications requires a higher temperature compound than those designed for use where asphalt is used as a roof covering. To avoid running compound that may result in staining of surrounding property, use a product with a minimum 250°F compound.
Transparency isn’t common in HDPE materials, but certain applications require semi-clear options. While exploring those, I came across Clear HDPE sheets that offer strength without compromising visibility. These sheets work amazingly for protective covers, storage containers, and inspection panels. They maintain chemical resistance and toughness, making them perfect for specialized industrial and commercial uses where clarity is beneficial.
