The general manager of Omega Contracting LLC in Manassas, Va has been locked up in jail for repeated violations of the terms of his work release. These issues were direct violations as a part of his job at Omega Contracting.
Fernando Arraya is operating the "storm chasing" roofing company while in jail and violated the terms of his work release. Not having a driver's license, Fernando has a chauffeur drive him to appointments and home inspections associated with his job.
Arraya's current jail sentence is related to crimes he committed while the director of marketing for another home improvement company in Prince William County that he was subsequently fired from.
Officials are reviewing the process that allows him to leave for work, and will make a decision as to whether to let him go back to work in a few days, or to return him to the general population in the jail.
